Fender Play TV is a Samsung TV app version of Fender Play that lets you learn guitar, bass, and ukulele directly on your Samsung Smart TV. It focuses on Essentials and includes an exclusive Jam Mode experience with backing tracks and immersive visuals designed for TV.
Where is the Fender Play TV app available?
Fender Play TV is available on Samsung Smart TVs that run the Tizen version 7 operating system and newer. Fender Play TV is also supported on Samsung’s Daily+ platform.
How much does a Fender Play TV subscription cost?
With the launch of Fender Play TV comes a new Fender Play plan: Fender Play Essentials. For a monthly price of $9.99 USD, players are able to access foundational content for Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, and Ukelele.

How do I sign up for a Fender Play TV subscription?
Go to the "Education" category in the App Store or search "Fender" on the Samsung Home > Apps.
Sign in with your Fender account using either the QR code or on‑screen link.
Go through the prompts to purchase your subscription on the web.
Once your subscription is active, head back to your TV and start learning.
If I have an existing Fender Play subscription, can I access the Fender Play TV app?
Yes. If you already have a paid Fender Play subscription (monthly or annual), you can use those credentials to sign in on Fender Play TV. Note: Features like Practice Mode, Feedback Mode, Lesson Tabs, Songs, Collections, and Search are currently only available on fender.com/play and the Fender Play iOS and Android apps.
If I have a Fender Play Essentials subscription, can I use the Fender Play lessons online or on the mobile app?
The Essentials experience is optimized for the TV app, but you can access the lessons from web.

Full subscription management—including billing, plan type (Essentials vs Commercial), and upgrade/downgrade options—lives in your Fender Connect account’s billing section.
How can I cancel my Fender Play TV subscription?
Go to your Fender Connect account billing section on the web.
Locate your Fender Play plan (Essentials or Commercial).
Choose Cancel, Pause, or Renew from the available options.
Changes will be reflected across TV, web, and mobile, typically within the current billing cycle.
