What is Fender Play Live?
Fender Play Live is a weekly live show where instructors, experts & artists teach lessons on topics related to learning & playing guitar, bass & ukulele. Episode topics include deep dives on genres & playing styles, crash courses on techniques & music theory, artist profiles & song breakdowns, and much more. Each episode features informative discussions, performances from guests, and questions from the audience related to the topic of the week. Episodes last anywhere from 30-45 minutes and are filmed completely live and unedited.
Additionally, each episode includes updates on new lessons and features within Fender Play, homework to work on through the week, and the announcement of the Weekly Gear Giveaway winner.
When do episodes of Fender Play Live air?
Episodes air every week (with the exception of major holidays) on Wednesdays at 5PM Pacific time.
Where can I watch Fender Play Live?
You can watch Fender Play Live on Fender’s YouTube channel, main Facebook page, or in the Fender Play Community. If you miss the live episode, you can watch all previous episodes via the Fender Play Live playlist on YouTube. Additionally, episode content can be found throughout many Collections on Fender Play.

Do I need to be a Fender Play member to watch?
Episodes are freely available for anybody to watch, however to enter the Weekly Giveaway you must be a Fender Play subscriber. Additionally, episode topics are always related to lessons on Fender Play, and each episodes provides homework and links to Fender Play lessons for additional learning, so to get the full learning experience being a subscriber is recommended!
Who hosts Fender Play Live?
Episodes are hosted by highly qualified Fender Play expert instructors. Currently our regular hosts are Eugene Edwards & Dylan Caliguiri; Eugene is a session guitarist and instructor who studied at Berklee College of Music and has played lead guitar for Dwight Yoakam for the past 10 years, and Dylan is a session guitarist and instructor who holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) from USC.
